The House

Riverside House is an exceptional hideaway where you, your family and friends will create unforgettable memories on the banks of the seine in Normandy near Paris. An authentic gem that mixes 19th century charm and modern California style and finishings, surrounded by a beautiful 5000m2 garden.  

The main house was built in 1883. The first floor has a cosy living room with a wood stove fireplace and a tuned antique piano. The modern fully equipped open kitchen adjoins the dining room with an original wood burning fireplace and has an adjoining WC. There are 4 bedrooms on the upper 2 floors. The first floor has 2 bedrooms with new ensuite bathrooms. The second floor has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and WC, directly accessible from each room. Adjacent to the main house connected by the courtyard are two standalone 19th century farm buildings with 3 additional bedrooms. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and private entrance. Additionally there is a glass house 'verrière' with a wood stove, that serves as an extra living space with a large communal table that can seat 16 or be used as a yoga or arts room.

The house has central heating, a sound system with a house iPad and WIFI with internet access. The kitchen is equipped with Churchill plates, KN industrie cutlery, quality cookware and top end appliances. There is a washing machine available.
